Extended Region Grid Lines

An alternative to Logic’s region grid — and compatible with older versions of Logic!

What it does

The Region Grid draws bar, beat and division lines directly onto your regions — a colourful alternative to Logic’s built-in region grid that also works on older versions of Logic. From the Helper menu’s Region Grid Lines panel you can toggle the grid and set the opacity and width of Bars, Beats and Divisions, then choose one of three colouring modes:

Greyscale

Select the grey shade — from black to white — using the Color slider in the Helper menu.

Color slider to the left — dark grid lines
Color slider to the right — white grid lines

Adaptive

As its name implies, this mode adapts the grey shade based on the colour brightness of the regions.

Tint

Uses a vibrant extrapolation of the region’s colour. Dial the intensity with the Vibrance slider.
